     This page is just for you to get to know some of the interests of the chef you are considering for your next event. I am originally from the Dallas area, and I relocated to Austin, Texas to attend Culinary school in 2005. I had always wanted to attend Culinary school for many years and finally decided to follow my dreams a couple of years back. I completed with an Associates of Applied Sciences Degree "Cum Laude", from The Texas Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu Affiliate) in Februrary 2007 .

I was hired at The Hills Fitness Center in November of 2006, and I was there until November of 2007.  left The Hills in November of 2007 to become the Research and Development Chef for Vertical Sales and Marketing, San Ramon, CA. I am developing new sauces and concepts for Versamar for food sales in different retail markets. Our name brands for VSM are Ventera Ranch, and Wyndemar Farms. I am also a Personal Chef for several clients and have started Catering; and I am looking forward to expanding my business.

I am very passionate about my friends, family and of course good food. I have two members of my family in the military, [ SPC Deric Long and CPL Casey Long] I am very proud of both of them (HOOAH). I have followed my dreams of becoming a Chef and I am very passionate about every aspect of food.
